  Do I have to pay for updates/changes?

Never during the build out! Depending on the plan you choose this will vary. The Startup plan does not include changes to your website once it is launched. You will need to make these changes on your own using the drag and drop site editor. The Professional plan, on the other hand, includes unlimited revisions with a dedicated project manager. So your website is always looking fresh, changing with your business' needs.

  What do you do different from my current provider?

  What happens to my website while you are building my new site?

Your site will stay up until you are ready to go live with your new website. Once you are ready to launch your new website, we will take care of it for you, pointing your domain to your new website.

  Do I have to sign a contract or make a commitment?

There are no contracts at Engage. Our monthly rate is month-to-month with no contract or minimum commitment. If you would like to pay for 1 year up front, we provide discounted annual rates. Ask your business consultant about this rate if interested!

  Is Engage just like every other company - over promise and under deliver?

Absolutely not. We are here to build you a website to help you grow your business, not to sell you a line. We are transparent with our clients, helping to guide them through the process, offer suggestions to improve their site and promise realistic results. If you take a few minutes to talk with one of our business consultants, you will find that they are extremely honest about what we provide and what you can expect.

  Do I own my website?

Long story short - yes. The idea of “owning” a website is a bit of an outdated concept. Since a website should be updated often for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), keeping costs down is important for small business owners. With Engage you only have to pay your monthly subscription and you get your website, hosting and updates without the fear of having to cough up additional outrageous expenses as technology and website best practices change. All plans include the design, development, hosting, and updates to the software that powers your website.

That said, if you choose to leave Engage, but you absolutely love the site design and want to take it with you, we do have options available.

Since we are putting all the effort into your site with no setup fees or upfront costs, you can buy-out your site for a nominal fee that is based on how long you’ve been with us. Since we are giving you thousands of dollars in creation and optimization service up front while you are only paying as you go, the costs are reduced as time goes by.

You’ll get the pages of your site, the design, and all of the content, exported into flat HTML files that you can take and host anywhere.

  Can I use my own domain?

Of course! We will just need access to your domain registrar to point the domain to your new site once it comes time to publish. We can also transfer the domain to our registrar for safekeeping while you are a client.

  If I have questions, is there someone I can talk to?

Of course! You will have a dedicated project manager with whom you may email or schedule a call any time. You may also reach our live chat support on our website should you lose this contact information.

  If I don't like Engage, how do I cancel?

While we certainly don't expect it to come to this, cancelling is as easy as sending an email to billing@engageyourbiz.com. We will send your domain over within a day along with the html files for your site, should you decide to purchase them. No hoops to jump through.

  I have been burned in the past, how do I know you guys won’t burn me?

We totally get it, many of our clients have horror stories from the past. Rest assured, we do everything we can to turn the process of getting a new website upside down!   Is Engage a US-Based company with English-Speaking support?

Yes. All of our business consultants and project managers are in-house, US-based, native English speaking employees. We will pair you up with a dedicated project manager who will handle all of your revision requests and answer your questions.

  Why should I pay monthly for a website?

That's a great question. Your website is more than a product, or something you buy. Your website is the online representation of your business, and it must be treated with importance.
